After meeting your guide on the pier, you will drive to a panoramic spot where you will have the opportunity to have a bird's eye view of the walled town of Dubrovnik and the scenic Croatian coast. You will then drive to the main entrance of the walled town where you will begin your walking tour.
A walk along the Stradun will show you a few of Dubrovnik's Renaissance buildings that survived the earthquake of 1667 and will give you an idea of the city's architectural heritage. Perhaps the finest Renaissance highlight is the Sponza Palace which dates from the 16th century and is now home to the National Archives. The Rectors Palace is a Gothic-Renaissance structure from the 15th century which was the seat of the Government and Rector or the Republic. Today you will visit the Dominican monastery and treasury of the Cathedral. After the walking tour of Dubrovnik, you will have a free time for exploring the city on your own.
At the appointed time and location you will meet your driver for the return trip to the pier.
