• Round-trip train tickets to Lake District National Park with reserved seats

Meet the Evan Evans representative at Euston Station to collect your tickets and itinerary for the day, then enjoy a relaxing train journey to Oxenholme in the spectacular Lake District National Park.

On arrival at Oxenholme you will be met by a local guide, who will take you on a tour of the Lake District. Enjoy a spectacular cruise on Lake Coniston and visit the medieval village of Hawkshead, an enchanting combination of whitewashed houses and cobbled streets. We make our way to Hill Top Farm, home of Beatrix Potter and the inspiration for so many of her characters.

A highlight of the visit to the Lake District is afternoon tea at the Lindeth Howe Country Hotel, once home to Beatrix Potter.

You will be taken back to Oxenholme Station for the train back to London.

Overnight in the Lake District (optional)

Stay overnight in the Lake district at a 3* hotel. Prices are per person, based on two people staying in a twin room.

This tour is unescorted to and from the Lake District.
