Visit Karlštejn Castle, which was built in the 14th century by Charles IV, the King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor. At that time the Castle held the treasury of the Empire, including the imperial coronation jewels.

In winter, should Karlštejn Castle be closed, we arrange an alternative visit to Český Šternberk Castle. The Castle features rich stucco decorations and unique collections of weapons. We would like to point out that this excursion is physically more demanding.
