We begin by crossing the northern districts of Paris as far as the entrance to the northern motorway. Our route takes us as far as the Belgian border. Before reaching it, we make a stop for refreshments (at client's own charge). Our arrival at Bruges is scheduled at 11.15 AM. We visit the historically rich centre of the town on foot which takes us by Le Béguinage (Béguinage's monastery), the gothic style Townhall, the Place du Bourg with la Basilique du Saint-Sang, la Grand Place, Les Halles (indoor market) dominated by the belfry and the Notre Dame Cathedral. (Duration of the guided visit : 1.30hrs).
Free time is allocated for lunch in one of the local restaurants with Belgian specialities such as "moules frites" (mussels and chips) and an extensive selection of beers. A visit to the Flemish art museum or shopping for handmade lace and Belgian chocolates are amongst the most popular ways of spending an afternoon at Brugge.
