This fifteen

day tour highlights many of Britain and Southern Irelands treasures and heritage.  From St Pauls Cathedral to the narrow streets of York once sacked my Sir William Wallace (Braveheart) you will marvel in the history surrounding you. Also during the tour we visit the Wesley Chapel Museum and the home of John Wesley at Epworth.  John Wesley's great work in the 18th Century laid foundations for the Methodist Church as it stands today.

 A PILGRIMAGE TO FRANCE

Visiting Paris, Loire Valley Chateaux, Carnac Ruins, Vannes, Mont St Michel, Bayeux, Normandy beaches, Giverny, Chartres, Cluny, Avignon, Provence, Nice.

Our fifteen day tour starts in Paris where we will meet the driver and English speaking guide to travel to the Loire Valley to visit the Chateau Dr Chambord, once a hunting Lodge.  From here we travel to Tours then on to Brittany to see Mont St Michel.  We shall also visit Beyeux home of the famous Bayeux Tapestry which is displayed at the Guillaume-le-Conquerant.  After a visit to the Normandy Beaches we shall return to Paris for 4 nights by way of Giverny. We next head south to Provence with over night stops and visits to many famous sights.  Our last stop is on the fabulous French Riviera where we spend time to visit the Palais Du Prince in Monocco.

 A PILGRIMAGE TO ITALY

In the Footsteps of St Francis (Ten day tour)

 

Starting from Rome our ten day tour will take you to Assisi, Florence and Rome.  After driving north our first stop for the next three nights will be at Assisi birthplace of St Francis.  Here we will explore on foot and by motorcoach St Francis foot steps.  Next we venture towards Florence to marvel at the famous piazzas, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its magnificent dome, Bell Tower and Baptistery. For the next two days Florence offers the Accademia Museum and the Uffizi Gallery. Lastly we begin our journey to Rome as St Francis did in 1209.  With visits to the Vatican City, St Peter's Basilica and the Colosseum sadly your journey to Ancient Rome comes to an end.

A PIGRIMAGE TO BARCELONA MADRID AND LISBON 

 Cultural Cities (Eleven day tour)

 

Arriving in Barcelona we will meet our driver and guide and transfer to our hotel in central Barcelona for the next 3 nights. During our stay in Barcelona we tour the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona the vestiges of Roman Barcelona, the Picasso Museum just to name a places of cultural interest. Leaving Barcelona we take the high speed train to Madrid.  Visiting such sights such as the Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Sol and Plaza del Angel we end with the Royal Palaces. After visiting the monumentous Escorial Monastry the largest monument in Spain resting place of of Spain's Monarchy and Toledo, we join our overnight train to Lisbon. Our motorcaoch and guide will be waiting for us at the train station to takes us Sintra and to Pena Palace. Soon we take the coast road stopping at Cabo da Roca lighthouse and to Cascais.  After enjoying a dedicated tour of Lisbon we return home.

A PILGRIMAGE TO MORROCO'S IMPERIAL CITIES

AND ANDALUCIA, SPAIN.

A Thirteen day tour visiting Malaga, Tangiers, Fez, Marrakesh, Casablanca, Rabat,

Seville, Cordoba, Granada. (Thirteen day tour)

Upon arrival Malaga we will meet our driver and guide and drive to our hotel.  This afternoon we will have an orientation visit of Malaga seeing the Cathedral and the Pablo Picasso Museum.  After an early morning check out we head for the port to catch a ferry bound for Tangiers.  From here we head to Fex.  During the next few days of we will visit Marrakesh, Casablanca, Rabat, Seville, Cordoba and Granada.

A PILGRIMAGE T0 FATIMA AND LISBON

A nine day tour visiting Lisbon, Shrine of Fatima, Cascais, Sintra, Cabo da Roca.

Upon arrival in Lisbon, we will meet our driver and guide and drive to our hotel in Fatima.  During the afternoon we visit the sanctuary of Fatima followed by an evening Torchlight procession.  Our next day begins by a visit to the Sanctuary Museum that was used in the attempted assassination of Pope John Paul.  After we leave Fatimer we visit the resort of Cascaise then on to Lisbon where we will visit the Monasterio de los Jeronimos, Discoveries Monument and Belen Tower.

A PILGRIMAGE TO SPAIN

Terminating in Santiago de Compostela. ( Eight day tour) 

The Camino de Santiago, or the way of St James begins in St Jean de Port, France and continues some 500 miles to Santiago, the believed burial site of St James.  This same path has been taken for hundreds of years by the faithful making their holy pilgrimage to Santiago de Comastela.  The path was also used by Roman, Moor and Saracen invaders, the Knights Templar and the armies of Charlemanne and Nepoleon.  This journey is steeped in spiritual significance, as well as much historical and cultural significance.

 MADRID - MEDIEVAL MARVEL

Medieval Marvel:  Palaces, Monasteries in Spain through the Ages.

(Nine day tour)

This nine day tour visits Madrid, Aranjuez, Chinchon, El Escorial, Avila, La Granja, Toledo.  Throughout the tour you will be escorted to sights such as the Royal Palaces, Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Sol. Plaza del Angel to name but a few.  We will also be taken back to the times of Phillip II where we will marvel at the Escorial Monastery resting place of Spains Monarchy from the 16th century.  Other visits include a stop at the Valley of the Fallen the resting place for thousands of Civil War soldiers as well as Franco.  Before retuning back to the US you will taken to Santa Teresa and Toledo homeland to many Jewish and Moorish ancestors.
