The Benedictine Monastery of Montserrat is where the monks worship Catalonia's Patron Saint, the black Madonna of Montserrat. As you travel up the mountains to the XIV c Monastery you will have a chance to admire the unique stone formation of this natural park and the breathtaking views from the Shrine at 721 m (2100 feet).
