Your private driver will meet you at your cruise ship at 09.00AM.Today’s tour takes us to the bohemian city of Cork, on the River Lee. Visit the nearby ruined Blarney Castle, to see the legendary Blarney Stone. Kiss the stone to receive the gift of eloquence! Nearby is Blarney Woollen Mills which sells garments and souvenirs. From here we return back to the town of Cobh, which lies on an island in Cork harbour. See the Victoria seafront, and the harbour. Cobh was the last port of call for the Titanic liner in 1912.Cobh was the centre of the great Irish emigration between 1848 and 1950 when nearly half of the emigrants left from here. We can see the Queenstown Story Museum and also visit the Jameson Heritage Centre at Middleton, where James and Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey is made.We will return to Cobh Docks for 05.00PM |
