Your English speaking driver guide will  meet you at your cruise ship at 09.00AM Your air-conditioned private minivan/car will take you to the archaeological excavations of the ancient Minoan palace of Festos, the residence of King Radaman this, brother of King Minos. The palace, located on top of a hill, dominates the Messara valley. The internal courtyards, theatre, dwellings and other archaeological ruins still bear witness to the highly developed nature of the Minoan civilization which dominated the island of Crete. The enchanting landscape alone is enough to make this trip memorable. We return to Heraklion Docks for 01.00PM
