Your English speaking driver guide will pick you up at your cruise ship at 08:00am in Haifa and drive through the city and view the beautiful Bahai Gardens where we will have a panoramic view of the bay from Stella Maris.
Driving south along the coast road we enter Caesarea Maritima to explore this Roman bridgehead to the East, which became the Christian springboard to the West. During our visit we see the ancient harbor as well as the hippodrome, aqueduct and theatre where Saint Peter and Saint Paul were imprisoned for two years.
Next we drive through Wadi Ara and head to the mound of Megiddo which in Hebrew means Armageddon. As we hug the coast line of the mediterranean we head north to Acre, a 4,000 year old city. Here you will step back in time as you walk this ancient port. Acre is now one of Israel's three World Heritage Sites. The Hamman has been restored and a lot of the old city is undergoing major preservation and renovation.
