Meet your friendly tour guide, and set out along the coastal road to a view point that offers a magnificent view over Dubrovnik Port and its Riviera. After a photo stop, continue on along the Dubrovnik Riviera to the first stop in the town of Ston.
Historic town of Ston is surrounded by a 5km long fortified wall, the second longest in the world after the Great Wall of China, which was originally erected in the 14th century to protect the town. Your guide will accompany you as you wander around the pretty old town, exploring the churches and varied architecture, before continuing the tour to the local winery of family Vukas for the wine tasting.
Enjoy a scenic 50 minute drive back to Dubrovnik City.On your way you will pass the Ston's ancient salt pans which are still working today after over 2,000 years and, unusually, are home to an oyster farm. Thanks to the unique ecological balance of the area, the farm grows a variety of oyster that have died out elsewhere making these a truly special delicacy.
When you reach Dubrovnik your guide will give you the orientational walking tour of the Old City, suggestions for major sights, local shops and restaurants and leave you to enjoy the charm of Dubrovnik during your free time.
At the appointed time and location you will meet your driver for the return trip to the pier.
