Fontainebleau & Barbizon (5 hours)
Our English speaking driver will meet clients in the lobby of their hotel at 09.00AM. The drive is 40 miles south of Paris, where in the middle of an immense forest, is the "castle of castles" named because of the Royal influences in and after the 1600's. This was a favorite site of many rulers including Napoleon who used it for his farewell to his armies in 1814, following his abdication.
Nearby is also the famous painter's village of Barbizon, where Millet founded his school. |
