Experience an impressionist guided daytrip visiting the famous Orsay Museum and the Claude Monet’s house and gardens in Giverny.
Our guide will welcome you at the foot of the Horse statue in front of the Orsay Museum. Discover the masterpieces such as La Petite Danseuse by Degas, le Déjeuner sur l’herbe by Manet and so much more beautiful paintings. The museum is famous for exhibiting the biggest collection of Impressionist and post-impressionist paintings worldwide.
The guided visit ends at around 11.00am. Have free time for lunch and get back to our agency to meet the guide and go on the Giverny tour. You need to be there at around 1.15 pm.
Then, meet up with the guide and board a luxury coach to reach Giverny, a quaint village in Normandy which attracted many Impressionist painters in the 19th century. They followed the lead of the movement’s founder Claude Monet, who lived there for 43 years. You will visit on your own the Master’s house where the spectacular colours and enchanting garden were designed like a work of art. You will be dazzled bu the flowerbeds and plants, and you will sense the artist’s emotions in front of the famous water lilies and weeping willows in the water garden.
