Your driver and guide will meet you in the lobby of your Athens hotel at 09:00am or 01.00PM (1300).

During the scenic drive along the Saronic Gulf to Cape Sounion, you will pass the walls of Themistocles and the summer resort of Varkiza.

At Cape Sounion, you will visit the Temple of Poseidon, which was built in the 5th Century BC. This impressive temple was constructed on the highest peak of the headland, standing at a height of 197 feet above the sea level. Here you will enjoy the magnificent view of the blue Aegean and the distant islands. Many cruise ships pass Cape Sounion today, They still pay their respects to Poseidon by lowering the ensign or blasting the ship’s horn.
