Savour the exciting discovery of the secret chambers and passages in Palazzo della Signoria that are not accessible to the general public but have only recently been made available for very small groups of people (max.12).
You will climb up the narrow passages of Duke Walter de Brienne’s medieval stairway and you will discover an unexpected passage beyond a door hidden by a painting, admire the exquisitely painted coffered ceiling of the Hall of the Five Hundred and explore the Ducal Quarters of the Medici from rivetingly novel standpoints.
At the end of the tour (approximately 1 hour and a quarter), you will go on your own to a historical restaurant (Giannino - Via Borgo San Lorenzo, 33) in the ancient merchant quarter in the heart of the Medici district, to enjoy a delicious Florentine lunch.
We ask you to reconfirm the tour the day before, as visiting hours may be subject to changes.
