Upon arrival in the elegant and refined town of Lucca, you will have free time to stroll along the famous sixteenth century walls and the enchanting historical centre where you will admire the amazing Piazza Anfiteatro, the Torre Giunigi, the Duomo di San Martino and the typical “antique dealers’ street”. The tour proceeds to the historical town of Pisa, renowned for its architectural masterpieces.

Upon arrival in Pisa, free time for lunch (not included).

After lunch, a guided walking tour of Piazza dei Miracoli, with the celebrated Leaning Tower (exterior), the Baptistery (exterior) and other important monuments. This is followed by a visit of the Cathedral (exterior), an unrivalled masterpiece of Romanesque art constructed between the 11th and 12th centuries.

Free time at your disposal. Those who are interested can take a pleasant walk to Piazza dei Cavalieri, where you can admire the historic Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world.
