In Livorno port, you will disembark from your cruise ship and meet our selected professional English speaking driver for your private shore excursion tour in Tuscany.
You will first visit Florence, the Tuscany art town considered the birthplace of Renaissance, rich in art and architecture. You will meet your private guide for a 3 hour tour including either the Uffizi Gallery or Academia with David (to specify at the reservation). Note - you will skip the line at the museums with pre-booked tickets.
Your private walking tour in Florence will include the Brunelleschi’s Duomo, the Giotto's Bell Tower and the Baptistery with its famous bronze gates representing scenes from the Old and New Testament called “The Gates of Paradise”. You will stop in the Piazza della Signoria with Palazzo Vecchio and then walk to Ponte Vecchio, the famous Medieval bridge over the Arno River. Here you will find that lined on both sides are jewellery shops.
You have free time to shop in the boutiques in the center of Florence and/or have lunch on your own.
In the mid-afternoon you will meet the driver who will accompany you to the port of Livorno to re-embark on your cruise ship.
You will get the last breath taking view of the Renaissance town with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo on the hills over Florence.
On the way back to Livorno you will visit Pisa where you have time to see the Piazza dei Miracoli with the Leaning Tower, Duomo and Baptistery.
