Windsor Castle
For the first of our Royal Residences, we head out to Windsor Castle, home to the Royal Family for 900 years and still an official residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Windsor is the oldest inhabited castle in the world - it's proud, strong walls dominate the delightful town that has grown around the castle over the years.

Hampton Court Palace & Gardens
Perhaps the most spectacular Royal Palace in England, Hampton Court was built by Cardinal Wolsey in the early 1500s. It later became King Henry VIII's principal residence and remained the centre of royal and political life. Visitors can see King Henry VIII's Great Hall and the unmissable Tudor Kitchens, which remain largely unchanged since the 16th century and no doubt were used to cater for raucous banquets. Hampton Court is probably most famous for its beautiful gardens and the Hedge Maze, which has entertained children for over 300 years.
