Avila of the Knights. Avila of the Saints. The city is compelety surrounded bt 11th century walls and more than a city resembles a great castle. Avila has a number of romanesque churches. Gothic styles palaces and a fortified cathedral dating back to the 12th century. The city was the birth place of St Teresa de Jesus. One of the greatest mystic of the catholic church. We will stop at Carre de Los Postes for a photo stop of one of the best views of the city. We see the Cathedral San Vicente Basilica and St Teresa's Convent. We now depart for Segovia. Segovia was a very important military stonghold of the Romans. See the Aquaduct. We stop for lunch On your own. 

After lunch we visit the Cathedral (the last gothic cathedral built in Spain.  Its grace and style have earned the title of "Queen of Cathredrals" and the Alcazar (the most spectacular castle of the country).
