The magnificent monuments bear witness to the continuous changes it has seen throughout the course of its fascinating history, and the refined architecture creates a serene and sophisticated atmosphere. The tour includes a visit to the splendid Alhambra Palace (where we will meet our local guide), a site of exceptional artistic importance. This remarkable fortress, perched on the top of a hill, is an excellent example of medieval Arab architecture. The tour will then continue to the splendid gardens of Generalife, the ancient residence of the Arab kings, which, with their terraces, grottos, fountains and well-groomed shrubs, are reminiscent of the gardens of the Italian Renaissance Villas. The visit to the Alhambra Palace and its gardens includes approximately 2 1/2 hours of walking.
