On this full day tour you get a taste of the best Stockholm has to offer starting with a panoramic viewpoint, Fjallgatan located on the largest of Stockholm's fourteen islands.

We proceed acrss the Western bridge, Vasterbron, to the island of Kungsholmen:  overlooking Sweden's third largest lake you enjoy a skyline with magnificent sights.  Your first stop is the City Hall, the political centre and home of many festivities of which the most famous is the Nobel banquet.  Your guide shows you the imposing interiors of the blue hall and the golden hall where the Nobel laureates attend a ball after the official dinner.

The tour continues through the commercial parts of the city befre you arrive in the Old Town where the history of Stockholm began almost 800 years ago.  You make your way to the Royal Palace, the official residence of his Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf.  Some of the interiors date back to the 17th century and the palace is in active us by his Majesty and the Royal Court.  Leaving the place you are takne on a walk on the cobblestone streets of the Old Town.  Free time and possibility to see the changing of the guards or enjoy a lunch break in one of the quaint restaraunts in the Stortorget.  Afterwards see the antique stores before hading back to our transportation and the final stop on the tour - the Vasa Museum.    The Vasa Museum hold the world's best preserved 17th century warship.  Your guide points out the most intriguing details followed by time to browse on your own before we return to your hotel.
